This Privacy Policy explains how A Long Story Short LLC, doing business as “Good Operator” (“Good Operator,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through our websites, landing pages, lead forms, and related services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”).

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it before you start to use the Services. By using the Services, or by clicking to accept or agree to this Privacy Policy when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by this Privacy Policy. 2) Personal Information We Collect

A. Information you provide

We may collect personal information you submit through forms or communications, including:

B. Information collected automatically

When you visit our site(s), we may automatically collect:

C. Information from third parties

We may receive information from third parties such as:

In some countries, including countries in the European Economic Area (the “EEA”), the information referenced above in this Privacy Policy may be considered personal information under applicable data protection laws. If you do not want us to collect this information, do not use the Services.

  1. You may send us an email at the contact information provided below to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. If you delete personal information that you have publicly posted or shared from the Services, copies of such information may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Service users.

3) How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following business purposes:

4) Cookies, Analytics, Advertising, and Your Choices

We use cookies and similar technologies to run analytics and advertising campaigns, including:

By using these third party services, Good Operator is necessarily sharing your information with these third-party analysis and tracking service companies to receive their services. Depending on your settings and applicable law, some advertising-related data flows may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California privacy law.

Opt-out of Marketing Communications. You may opt out of marketing-related emails by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the email, or by contacting us using the contact information at the bottom of this Privacy Policy. You may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing emails.

Cookies. Most browsers let you remove and/or stop accepting cookies from the websites you visit. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser’s settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. For more information about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your browser and how to manage and delete them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.

Advertising Choices. You can limit the use of your information for interest-based advertising by blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings, using browser plug-ins/extensions, and/or using your mobile device settings to limit the use of the advertising ID associated with your mobile device. You can also opt out of interest-based ads from companies participating in the following industry opt-out programs by visiting the linked websites below:

Many of the opt-out preferences described here must be set on each device and/or browser for which you want them to apply. Please note that we also may work with companies that offer their own opt-out mechanisms or do not participate in the opt-out mechanisms described above, so even after opting-out, you may still receive some cookies and interest-based ads from other companies. If you opt-out of interest-based advertisements, you will still see advertisements online but they may be less relevant to you.

Do Not Track. Some Internet browsers may be configured to send “Do Not Track” signals to the online services that you visit. We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” or similar signals. To find out more about “Do Not Track,” please visit http://www.allaboutdnt.com.

5) SMS / Text Messaging (If Offered)

We do not currently operate an SMS program. If we offer SMS/MMS communications in the future, we may use text messages to communicate with you about your inquiries, requested resources, scheduling, and (if you opt in) marketing and promotional messages.

Consent / opt-in. Where required, we will obtain your consent before sending marketing text messages. At the time you opt in, we will provide required disclosures (which commonly include message frequency, message and data rate notices, and opt-out instructions). CTIA messaging principles emphasize consent-based messaging and clear opt-out processes.

Opt-out. If you receive text messages from us in the future, you will be able to opt out by following the opt-out instructions provided in the messages (commonly by replying “STOP”). CTIA principles and messaging compliance guidance emphasize clear opt-out instructions and honoring opt-outs.

One-to-one consent. For marketing texts, consent must be tied to a single identified sender. When we implement SMS opt-in, our consent language will identify the sender accordingly.

Service providers. If we offer SMS, we may use third-party providers to deliver messages on our behalf.
